Activating your card

To activate your card simply have your card and credit limit handy (credit limit can be found on your statement or Financial Table) and call 1300 361 152.

Your Buyer’s Edge card is sent to you inactive for security reasons. Activating your card validates that, as the intended recipient, have received the card. Once activated, you can pass to your additional cardholder so they can make interest free purchases and access cash on your account.

Please note, additional cardholders need to have their card activated by the primary cardholder on the Buyer’s Edge account.

Your security PIN (Personal Identification Number)

Your PIN is unique to you and you should receive it in the mail a few days after you receive your card.You can use your Buyer’s Edge card, with your PIN to access cash from ATMs around Australia or to make purchases using EFTPOS.

Tips to increasing the security of your card PIN

To increase the security of your card PIN here are some tips to remember when selecting you're own:

Don't use easily recognisable numbers like your date of birth or a part of your address
Don't use sequential numbers like 1234 or 7890
Don't use the same number repeatedly like 1111 or 3333
