Why do I have to activate mine and/or my additional cardholder's card?
For security reasons, cards are sent to you inactive. Activating the card validates it’s been received by you and you and/ or your additional cardholder can begin using the card to access cash or go interest free shopping again.
Can I use my Buyer’s Edge card through EFTPOS?
Yes, you can use your Buyer’s Edge card anywhere that has an EFTPOS facility simply by selecting the “Savings” option and entering your PIN. However, this transaction is considered a cash advance and you will be charged the applicable interest rate and fees. Please view fees and charges for more information.
How can I access cash with my Buyer’s Edge card?
You can access cash conveniently from Westpac ATMs around Australia using your PIN, over the counter at Westpac Bank branches, through purchasing using EFTPOS terminals or direct crediting cash into your personal bank account.
